It’s true. Here are five simple steps for making lasting CHANGE:
CHOOSE what you want. Maybe it's to eat better and workout more consistently. The trick is not to wish for it or just want it, but to CHOOSE it! Every day choose it again!
COMMUNICATE it clearly to yourself and to those closest to you. Let them know you're changing your habits, how it will affect the family calendar, and ask for their support!
COLLABORATE with others on a simple to execute plan that will bring great change! If you need a sitter, hire one. If you need to get a new pair of shoes, invest in YOU! Whatever you do, set yourself up to succeed for the long haul.
COMMIT to the process. It will be a process! Be patient with yourself.
CHECK IN with yourself and those closest to you to see how it’s working. If the original plan needs tweaking....TWEAK IT! In order for any plan to work, it needs to work FOR you and to be doable!
