Living An (Unbalanced) Great Lifestory

A mom's work is never done, and sometimes finding balance can seem immensely difficult.

The truth is, life is often UNBALANCED, but as long as our priorities are in order, we can keep the main things the main things, even as balance eludes us. When I was 36, I took a chance and started my own home-based business the day before I left the country with my hubby to adopt our youngest two kids. (18 years ago this December!)

Best timing? No.
Out of balance? 100%.
Did I find a way to build my biz and help my boys attach, in the midst of my already out of balance life?

Yes I did, and it has blessed our life abundantly in more ways than I could ever count.

Now, while I wouldn't say that timing was “the best," would I do it a million times over? Yes I would!!

For us, God showed up in ways I could never have guessed as I sought to build something amazing (a business) in the middle of building something amazing (a growing, tight-knit family.)
