Being Brave
Did you know I am a licensed hair dresser and facialist?
Yep. I still cut my family's hair these days, but that's about it.
I used to work in a salon, and then after I had kids I had my own travel salon for years.
Back then, I read John Maxwell books because I thought I'd own a salon one day and I wanted business mentoring.
I kept reading his books because he helped me shape who I was becoming as a human being who was leading other human beings; first in the home, eventually in a business setting.
I always liked to do hair, but my passion was to help people define and live their great lifestory.
When I met Tony Horton, it was like everything I'd been preparing for presented itself, but in a different format.
Sometimes the BRAVE thing to do is to stick to the plan.
And SOMETIMES the brave thing to do is to radically change course when what you've been planning for pales in comparison to what shows up and calls you to go all in.
While I was preparing for a hair salon, I found that my real passion was people, healthy relationships, leadership, spiritual and holistic wellness, and living a lifestory that includes a much bigger picture.
And I’ve not looked back. That story keeps expanding and I’m sometimes left in awe of how God provides.
If this resonates with you, maybe consider reaching out, or reading along here on the blog for more of my story as it unfolds. Who knows? Maybe finding my website is serendipitous and our paths are meant to converge and align for a new season of wellness and growth for your own expanding lifestory!
Helping people discover, define, and live their own great lifestory!
